I have a vintage speedy 25, which is my first Louis Vuitton purchased from LV mid 80’s, when I look at the code, it is not located under the pocket, but when looking at it the left side is 051 the right side has SD. It is marked made in France. I am confused with the 051?

The second question is I recently purchased a pre owned speedy 30 the date code is SD0014, tag is made in USA so that seems accurate – however the location is on the left side – not the right? It is centered, evenly spaced, appears the correct font, but somewhat small and all the images i researched only shows it on the right side. Have you or anyone else familiar with authentic Lv seen this?
